What you will be doing

Under direction of the HS&SS Sr.Partner, Learning & Development (L&D) this role is accountable for thedevelopment and implementation of HS&SS learning plans.Through direct consultation with SalesLeadership, the Partner, L&D will be responsible for and will lead and/orsupport many aspects of needs assessment, training prioritization, alignment tobusiness unit strategy and the creation and socialization of trainingperformance metrics. The Partner, L&D optimizes the sales person s time,learning and proficiency through the effective coaching and application oflearning.This individual will have aunique and challenging opportunity to work in an organization that servesmultiple business segments and leadership cohorts.The primary focus of the role is to executetraining within the annual learning plans.This position will also require a moderate degree of performanceconsulting with sales leadership on the progress within current learningstrategies, leading to the creation and execution of future trainingexperiences involved in delivering the HS&SS annual learning plan.The incumbent will liaise with L&D stafffrom CSP and HS&S business units, to strategically align all learning plans,selling models and the execution of new hire training.The Partner, L&D is also responsible for collaboratingwith the HQ L&D Consulting team, in an effort to follow the departmentoperating model for learning creation and implementation. This position can bebased remotely or in ABC offices across the U.S.

  • Manages the development and delivery of formalized programs such as Associate Onboarding, and Continuous Education, while providing a consistent, high-quality customer experience as well as promoting standardization and providing development opportunities to internal associates.
  • Reviews, evaluates, and modifies existing and proposed programs; recommends appropriate modifications.
  • Manages the assessment of training requirements and needs for audiences across assigned client groups and other functional teams while overseeing the development of new courses for functional subjects, course methodology design, and classroom and web-based instruction.
  • Ensures training content and associated documentation is kept current and relevant.
  • Liaises with various functional areas and IT Services to identify requirements, evaluate design alternatives, optimize design solution, coordinate testing efforts, and implement the agreed upon solutions.
  • Manages the activities of the Training Process Improvement Specialists including evaluation and coaching.
  • Facilitates the development of identified process and technical support documentation & promotes centralized knowledge sharing.
  • Align with learning plans across CSP and HS&S business units, while driving collaboration across L&D staff
  • Assist in the call quality monitoring for assigned client groups., when necessary.
  • Collaborates with other team members to best leverage subject matter expertise and talent/skills available.
  • Continuously seeks and supports new approaches, practices, and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the training services offered.
  • Proactively identifies potential risk(s) associated with initiatives/objectives; develops and implements strategies to mitigate identified risks; manages issue resolution process.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • What your background should look like (minimum qualifications)

    Requires a sales background, with proven results over 2-3 years indirect customer engagement environments.Requires broad training in fields such as business administration,marketing, organizational development, or similar vocations generally obtainedthrough completion of a four-year bachelor s degree program; normally requiresa minimum of three (3) or more years directly related and progressively responsibleexperience.2-3 years sales trainingexperience is preferred, but not required.

  • Managing without authority across multiple sales teams and sales leadership
  • Strong presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.
  • Applied knowledge and leadership experience in organizational change, training, and communications.
  • Knowledge of the principles of employee training including curriculum assessment and development.
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to effectively deploy resources and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to lead dynamically and energize multidiscipline work teams.
  • Solid consultative skills and ability to effectively facilitate groups to resolution. Ability to create trust and confidence.
  • High detail-orientation and strong interpersonal skills required to coordinate information among multiple internal groups.
  • Ability to operate well in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision required.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be able to foster a positive work environment, with the ability to lead through change, build teams, and motivate staff.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
