Bose Professional is actively seeking a Technical Education Content Developer, who creates training content focused on product technologies covering how to choose, design, program, and use them. The product technologies range from loudspeakers, amplifiers, digital processors, network devices to mixing consoles. A strong knowledge of how these types of products are used by system integrators and rental/production companies is a must.
The Technical Education Content Developer Engineered Sound will conceptualize and write scripted storyboards for instructional online videos and other engaging learning content. An important requirement will be video recording yourself as a subject matter expert. These videos will be scripted and recorded by you, edited, and turned into polished deliverables aimed at a variety of audiences including internal and external clients. Completed deliverables will be video tutorials, PowerPoint presentations, eLearning articles, instructor textbooks, classroom curriculum, application guides, and more.
The Education Content Developer Sound Reinforcement will be responsible for posting content to our LMS (Learning Management Systems). This includes hosting train-the-trainer events to teach the company s field trainers. The candidate will assess results and implement enhancements to ensure effectiveness of programs.
Become a technical expert on Bose Professional loudspeaker, amplifier, mixing, and signal processing technologies focused on large-format engineered and live sound production systems based upon Bose Pro products and their supporting devices and software.
This person will have a proven track record (7-10 years) designing professional audio systems with a background in the live sound and/or engineered sound markets, as a system designer or trainer. It is strongly desirable that they have technical training experience.
The preferred location for this position is located at our headquarters in Framingham, Massachusetts, USA.
For the right candidate, the position can be located remote within the United States or Western Europe. It would require office space for video recording.
This position will require up to 25% travel including international.
