The Associate Director, Neurology Business Intelligence creates integrated insights from primary market research, secondary data analytics and competitive intelligence to help achieve business objectives. The Associate Director will supervise, manage and coordinate Market Research projects for Eisai s US Neurology product Lemborexant. This includes providing market research expertise to guide analysis, planning and commercialization activities. Proficiency and focus on best-in-class methodologies for developing assessment of HCP promotional effectiveness, consumer strategy and DTC planning, as well as payer and pricing commercial strategy is required.

The Associate Director ensures that market research deliverables meet current and future needs of the brand in close coordination with stakeholders in US marketing, market access, and the global commercial and lifecycle planning functions. The ability to prospect, select and direct outside vendors and manage to budget is required. Collaboration with Forecasting by providing insights and assumptions inputs for the forecast is also required. The Associate Director will also ensure communication of market insights to BU leadership. This position is critical for the successful commercial introduction of Lemborexant.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Identifying critical Market Research initiatives and secondary data analyses. Direct primary market research projects and secondary data analyses to determine where and how to maximize short and long-term growth of lemborexant.

Disseminating customer and competitive insights throughout the organization, including oversight over lemborexant launch tracking reports. Guiding Competitive Intelligence assessments.

Coordinating external relationships with major suppliers, vendors and consultants. Leveraging the overall MR budget to achieve cost savings, negotiating vendor contracts as appropriate.

Preparing business assessments and management presentations, as needed



A BS/BA Degree Required An advanced degree preferred.

7-10 years relevant experience with a pharmaceutical or healthcare company. A minimum of 7 years Market Research and secondary data analyses experience.

Must Know:

Experience in managing and directing primary market research projects both qualitative and quantitative.

Experience in secondary data analyses, utilization of syndicated audits (e.g. IQVIA etc.).

-A record of accomplishment in achieving major business wins and insights through market research & business analytics.

Demonstrated accomplishments in product launch situations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Good to Know:

Direct-to-consumer campaign development and optimization experience.

Strong familiarity with managed care & generic competition.

Experience in Competitive Intelligence methods and practices
