Reporting to the VP of Sales the BDR Manager will help build and lead a team of BDRs tasked with supporting our growing field sales team with qualified leads. The BDR Manager is responsible for hiring, training, and coaching new BDRs as well as the attainment of all goals and metrics.Additionally, the BRD Manager will work closely with the CRO and VP of Sales on strategy, positioning, and messaging that will elevate the sales team. In conjunction with the sales leadership team, the BDR Manager will develop and deploy metrics and meeting standards to measure success as the BDR team grows, as well as quantifiable metrics around rep development and coaching.Outcomes First 30 daysGain a complete understanding of the Invoice Cloud platform and value propositionBecome proficient in the Invoice Cloud Sales tools and selling methodology - Invoice Cloud s End to End Sales Process. Observe sales demonstrations conducted by current team membersDevelop knowledge of current sales activitiesGain an understanding of the Invoice Cloud organizational structureReview the sales pipeline and begin to gain an initial understanding of current opportunitiesFirst 90 daysAssess competencies, weaknesses, and strengths of current BDR model through 1v1s, observing demos and meetings, etc.Learn Invoice Cloud s current sales hiring processBegin to recruit and build out the BDR team Build skills, confidence, and trust with direct reports as well as provide developmental feedback for continuous improvement.Work with the IC partnership managers to understand the current partner landscape, and how Invoice Cloud leverages partnerships to drive new businessLearn the Invoice Cloud implementation process, and how the IC customer service team operatesFirst 180+ daysClosely monitor metrics including dials per day, conversion rates to opportunities, hand-off to sales and close rates with the aim to increase BDR productivity, contribution to pipeline and bookingsCollaborate with VP of Sales and CRO on the development of improved rep training and coaching programs - as well as metrics used to measure the effectiveness of those programsWork with the VP of Sales to develop a 2019 sales forecastStart to make recommendations for improvements in Invoice Cloud s current sales process and messagingManage and motivate a growing team of BDRs, work with VP of Sales to determine additional head count as neededCreate a repeatable process for producing unique professional development plans for each rep, as well as metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of those plansSeeking an BDR Manager with these previous experiences and capabilities 2+ years of management or team lead experience with proven track record of hiring, retaining, and developing individuals and teamProven track record of goal achievement (as individual and manager/lead) and building and managing KPIs for a BDR teamStrong phone presenceProficient with corporate productivity and web presentation toolsExperience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRMExcellent verbal and written communications skillsStrong listening and presentation skillsAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyResourceful, out of the box thinkingAbility to make lemonade out of lemons when a situation goes sidewaysActively show a commitment to professional selling, where personal respect, integrity and ethical business practices are first and foremostBA/BS degree or equivalentInvoice Cloud, Inc. is the 4th fastest growing company in Massachusetts according to the Boston Business Journal, and #902 on the 2018 Inc. 5000 list of high growth companies in the U.S. We provide simple and secure SaaS based customer communications, e-billing, integrated e-payments, and software systems.
